Waldron Churches Choir

Come let us join our cheerful songs

Music Co-ordinator, Judith Clark describes the choir as a happy, friendly and inclusive group. The music is mainly conventional with organ accompaniment but the choir also enjoy exploring a wider variety of styles.  As members of the Royal School of Church Music, the choir has access to regional and national courses and events.

Choir members meet weekly for practice and sing for services in both All Saints & St Barts on alternate Sundays. Judith emphasises that attendance at every service is not essential but in order to keep a balance, each chorister is asked to attend at least one practice for each service they participate in. The high standard of singing means that invitations for weddings and funerals are frequent occurences.

And it's not all duty! The choir gets together for two social events per year and try to take the weekends after Christmas and Easter off!

Choir practice: Friday evenings at 6.15 - 7.30pm

Venue: St Bartholomew's Church, Cross-in-Hand TN21 0LT

Services: Sunday 10am at alternate churches

New Choir members: Judith→ would love to hear from anyone interested in joining the choir. No audition is required just a love of joyous music and singing together. It always helps if you can read music but you will very soon feel part of the group. Sopranos, tenors and basses are always in short supply but altos are welcome too! Why not give it a try?

Bookings: If you would like to book the choir or discuss church music, you can contact Judith Clark→
