Join us to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with an exciting programme of local events which will have something to interest and entertain everyone.

Thursday 2 June
Canines on the Cattam Fun Dog Show
2-5pm. Register on arrival

 

Bring along your dog for a laughter-filled afternoon of light-hearted competitions hosted by Uckfield & District Dog Training Club. All breeds and ages welcome. Bouncy dinosaur fun for children; bar and teatime refreshments.
There’s an entry fee of £1 per class, and rosettes will be awarded for. 1st, 2nd and 3rd in * Most Handsome Dog, * Dog with Most Appealing Eyes, * Best Crossbred, * Prettiest Bitch, * Dog with the Waggiest Tail, * Dog in Best Condition, * Best Veteran - 8yrs & Over,  * Best Rescue Dog, * Dog Most Like its Owner, * Fastest Recall, * 'Scurry' - Agility Test Course.

Dance Night
7-11pm

Dance Friday evening away in our Jubilee Marquee with leading live rock and pop band “The Headliners” -appearing in Waldron for one night only. Ticketed entry in advance, to include supper. BYOB plus pay bar featuring local craft ales - credit card sales only. Tickets £10 each ( £5 under 12 yrs). This event is now fully booked.

A varied programme of popular organ music from a variety of organists.
The Bellringers will be offering guided tours of the belltower from 1pm until 4.30 pm.

Big Family Jubilee Picnic
on the Cattam
12 noon - 4pm

Bring your picnic to share an afternoon of food, fun and friendship with family and neighbours. Live music from Heathfield Silver Band, entertainment: AB Stage School dance performance, inflatable assault course & bouncy castle. Jazz by String Theory. Bar for extra refreshments - credit card sales only. Reserved seating is now fully booked but you are invited to bring your own seating and join in.   See more→

Platinum Jubilee Art Project
2-6 June on display in the Alleluia Hall

Raising funds for Friends of Sussex Hospices

Friends of Sussex Hospices will be displaying a collage portrait of HM The Queen painted by 70 local art enthusiasts (who each made a donation to participate) at the Alleluia Hall at St Bart’s throughout the Jamboree. All sections of the design are now allocated but you are invited to bid for the finished portrait on the FSH website→ or by visitng the display at the Alleluia Hall.
